Morssinkhof - Rymoplast has 10 processing facilities in Europe, each with their own specialism. The company uses innovative technologies to process sorted post-consumer and pure post-industrial plastics.

Morssinkhof – Rymoplast focuses on Closed Loop Recycling, which can be defined as the process of reprocessing plastic scraps to a recycled raw material to make it suitable for the production of similar products or applications. Below, a visual presentation of this process can be found:

MOPET
Food approved recycled raw materials
Obviously, plastics used in the food industry need to meet stringent regulations. These regulations are created to ensure the health and well-being of its’ consumers.
We offer several products which a positive scientific opinion has been given by the EFSA, such as our HDPE and PP regrinds from crates. The best example within our portfolio is MOPET, which is a food approved PET recyclate.
MOPET is a leading product in the industry for the production of transparent food contact packaging: bottles and sheet. An important source of feedstock to produce MOPET are PET beverage bottles which are collected by deposit systems or schemes accross Europe.
